FULL AND HALF DAY LGBT+ TRAINING COURSES – FROM £345

Suitable for all professionals, the full and half day training courses offered provide you with the skills and knowledge to confidently support LGBT+ students, clients or colleagues within your organisation, whether you are a school, business or a charity.   

The courses focus on the following areas:

    • LGBT+ inclusion – full day
    • Transgender and non-binary inclusion – half day
    • LGB+ inclusion – half day

Course content includes:

    • Defining and exploring gender and/or sexuality
    • Myth busting
    • Language use, behaviour and its impact
    • Why we should all be striving for LGBT+ inclusion – the law and morality
    • Obstacles and how to overcome them  
    • NHS gender care pathway (course dependant)

LGBT+ SUPPORT & ADVICE: 1-1 SESSIONS – FROM £30 

A confidential and safe space, these sessions offer support and advice for LGBT+ people as well as those questioning their sexuality and/or gender identity. They provide a space and time, as well as a friendly face and a listening ear, for individuals to access support and advice in a way that is right for them. Please note this isn’t a counselling service. If you or someone you know is looking for a safe space to explore their identity and who they are alongside seeking advice and guidance then please do get in touch. 

LGBT+ WORKSHOPS & ASSEMBLIES – FROM £120

Whether you are looking for something to supplement your PSHE programme, for Anti-Bullying Week or LGBT History Month, to name a few, these are an excellent tool to raise awareness of LGBT+ identities and to look more closely at how to support the LGBT+ community. Age appropriate for all pupils and students, including primary and secondary schools and colleges.

Workshops and assemblies focus on:

    • Exploring gender and sexuality
    • Myth busting
    • Language use, behaviour and its impact
    • Acceptance and inclusivity

LGBT+ CONSULTANCY – FROM £75

I offer consultancy in an advisory capacity to help your organisation develop and/or implement its LGBT+ inclusion strategy. I also offer consultancy for individuals who need support relating to a specific situation or context; rather than, for example, developing a larger scale strategy.

Whether you need to support an individual, draft a policy or develop your strategy, I can support you. No request is too big or small, so please do get in touch.

SPEAKING AND GUEST LECTURING

I offer bespoke guest speaking, lecturing and interactive Q&A sessions to encourage thinking around LGBT+ inclusion and to generate awareness of LGBT+ identities.

My guest lecturing service for universities is a fantastic way to educate, provoke debate and encourage thinking about how gender and sexuality is perceived and how these fit within different paradigms both in everyday society, historically and different cultures.
